Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt (optional, for a softer texture)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Warm water (as needed)

For the topping:

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the dough:

  • In a bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt
  • Add the yogurt and oil
  • Gradually add warm water and mix until a soft dough forms
  • Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic
  • Cover and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size

2. Shape the flatbread:

  • Divide the dough into small portions
  • Roll each portion into a round or oval shape

3. Cook:

  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat without oil
  • Cook each flatbread until bubbles form and golden spots appear
  • Flip and cook the other side until fully cooked

4. Add the topping:

  • Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt
  • Brush the mixture over the flatbread while still hot
